Welcome to Arbor Road Academy, your home for comprehensive academic coaching, tutoring, and test prep.  Arbor Road Academy specializes in guiding students through the journey from high school to college. Nancy Schneider, founder and principal coach, guides, mentors, and tutors students, one-on-one, in a caring and supportive environment. 

Since opening its doors in June 2015, Arbor Road Academy has served students from each of the following local schools: Atkins High School, Bishop McGuinness High School, Calvary Baptist Day School, The Career Center, Davie County High School, Forsyth Country Day School, Mount Tabor High School, New Garden Friends School, The North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, Reagan High School, Reynolds High School, Salem Academy, Summit School, University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Wesleyan Christian Academy, and West Forsyth High School. Access to remote learning has expanded instruction to students out of state as well.

• ACADEMIC COACHING

A student enrolled in academic coaching with Arbor Road Academy will benefit from instruction on study and classroom skills, materials and time management, homework completion, essay writing, class preparation and participation, social interaction, presentation skills, reading comprehension, and a host of other college readiness markers.  Typically students meet with an academic coach once or twice per week, and a weekly report is provided by the coach to the parents.  Please contact us to discuss whether your child would benefit from the Arbor Road Academy experience.
